In this role, you will operate and maintain bindery and inserting machines to produce high-quality, finished printed materials. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot bindery and inserting machines.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Adjust machine settings to meet production requirements and address minor repairs as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Record and report production data accurately.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in bindery, inserting, or printing operations preferred.
- Mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full-time, with occasional overtime as needed.
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
