Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Forklift Operators are responsible for the processing of new shipments of parts for the vehicles in a safe manner by doing the following: 


 Safely operate forklifts to move materials, products, and supplies within the warehouse.
 Park vehicles in approved manor insuring proper spacing between vehicles
 Assist in inventory control by counting products during routine stock checks and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
 Observe all safety precautions and speed limits.
 Place work orders and/or other inserts in the vehicles as instructed
 In accordance with policies and procedures, obey all safety procedures (ie., accident reporting), hazardous
communications standards and vehicle handling procedures.
 Must have a spotter when backing up vehicles.
 Maintain a safe working environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety.
 Perform other duties as assigned.
