Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Medical Device Technician to install, maintain, repair, and calibrate medical equipment. Responsibilities

• Installation & Setup:
  
  
  • Install and configure medical equipment and devices, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Perform initial device setup, including software installation, calibration, and testing to ensure readiness for use.
• Maintenance & Repair:
  
  
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance (PM) on medical devices, including cleaning, inspecting, and replacing components.
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment, diagnosing issues and replacing faulty parts or adjusting settings.
  • Document maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and troubleshooting steps taken.
• Calibration & Testing:
  
  
  • Calibrate devices to meet operational standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring accuracy and reliability of measurements.
  • Perform testing of medical equipment to verify performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  
  
  • Ensure that medical devices comply with regulatory standards and safety protocols (e.g., FDA, ISO, CE certifications).
• Documentation & Reporting:
  
  
  • Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance, repairs, calibration, and inspections.
  • Prepare service reports and ensure all activities are documented according to company and regulatory guidelines.
