We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating accurate rebar estimates for various construction projects, ensuring they meet industry and company standards. You'll maintain precise records, coordinate the bid process, and collaborate closely with the Sales and Estimating Manager to ensure timely delivery of all bid documents. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines.

salary: $80,000 - $83,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Completes Estimate Summary sheet
• Maintains accurate records and documentation for each job and a desirable work area
• Produces rebar estimates that conform to industry and company standards for various structures
• Provide completed plans and all bid documents to the sales and estimating manager
• Responsible for the Bid Process and Coordinating with Responsible Salesman
• Prepare estimates and perform takeoff while preparing and sending preliminary scope letters, bid forms and documents, to meet bid schedules
• Perform additional duties as needed

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

Blueprint Reading (3 years of experience is preferred)

Math and Calculation (3 years of experience is preferred)

Multi-tasking (3 years of experience is preferred)

Fabrication (3 years of experience is preferred)
