Responsibilities
- Ensure the plant complies fully with applicable international quality standards and regulatory requirements, manage the document control system, and monitor daily plant quality data for emerging trends that could result in product defects.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and programs that minimize deficiencies, ensure compliance, reduce customer complaints, and operate the quality system cost-effectively.
- Oversee the evaluation of new and proposed quality-related activities, assessing their potential impact on operations, procedures, facilities, and reporting requirements.
- Manage the Quality department, including supervision of Quality Control personnel.
- Adhere to job safety procedures, attend mandatory health and safety training, actively promote workplace safety, and report any actual or potential accidents and injuries promptly.
- Ensure familiarity with EPA FIFRA regulations, EN900, NSF, and Kosher standards.
- Coordinate and lead certification audits, including Kosher, EPA, Product Safety, NSF, and others.
- Take responsibility for managing the department budget and associated costs.
- Track and report all quality metrics, ensuring alignment with global quality leadership processes and expectations.
