Key Responsibilities:
- Mold Setup:
- Set up molds in injection molding presses ranging from 20 to 1,100 tons.
- Operate and configure manual and fully electronic control panels.
- Equipment Management:
- Set up and program auxiliary equipment, such as robotics, conveyors, and thermolators.
- Perform part changeovers while molds remain in the press.
- Production Support:
- Process startup parts and monitor production to troubleshoot and resolve any issues.
- Print production paperwork and accurately document machine adjustments.
- Assist in mold tool trials and support improvement projects to enhance setup productivity.
salary: $52,000 - $62,000 per year

Responsibilities
The process tech position sets up and processes plastic injection molds. Our facility has a wide range of machine types and sizes, as well as varying auxiliary equipment including robotics, conveyors, thermolators, etc. This position requires you to work with these different types of machinery during the setup of the mold, while processing startup parts and throughout the entire production run as you are troubleshooting.
