Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This role involves ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a regulated environment, possess strong problem-solving skills, and maintain strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Inspect, diagnose, and address equipment issues, ensuring compliance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, calibration data, and equipment logs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance and production, to address operational challenges.
- Install, adjust, and validate new machinery and equipment as required.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintenance plans.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
- Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff as needed.
