Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pick and Place Operator to join our team in Nicholasville, KY. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining automated pick and place machinery, ensuring the accurate assembly of products, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating pick and place machinery or in a similar role preferred.
- strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot machinery.
salary: $16 - $18 per hour

Responsibilities
- Machine Operation
- Operate pick-and-place machines to assemble components according to production schedules and specifications.
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or defects, making adjustments as necessary.
- Material Handling
- Load materials, parts, or components into the machine's feeding system.
- Ensure a continuous supply of materials to maintain efficient production flow.
- Quality Control
- Inspect finished products or components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and report any defective materials or deviations in assembly.
- Setup and Calibration
- Configure machines for new production runs, including inputting settings and aligning components.
- Perform routine machine calibrations to maintain precision and accuracy.
- Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve issues with the pick-and-place equipment to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams for repairs or complex issues.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate production logs, recording completed units and machine performance metrics.
- Report any incidents, malfunctions, or quality concerns to supervisors.
