Position: Production Supervisor Shift: 2nd Shift (Afternoon to Evening) Location: Lexington, KY Employment Type: Full-Time
Are you an experienced leader in production management looking to make an impact? Join our dynamic team in Lexington as a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor, where you’ll oversee operations, drive efficiency, and lead a motivated team to meet and exceed production goals.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all production activities during the 2nd shift.
- Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Train, mentor, and manage production team members.
- Monitor equipment and processes to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to align goals and initiatives.
- Uphold compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a production or manufacturing environment.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in interpreting production reports and operational data.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in manufacturing.
salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and motivate production team members to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations to ensure team efficiency and morale.
- Production Oversight:
- Plan, schedule, and manage production operations to ensure on-time delivery of quality products.
- Monitor workflow, materials, and resources to optimize production processes.
- Quality Assurance:
- Enforce quality standards and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to resolve product or process issues.
- Problem-Solving:
- Address and resolve production issues, including equipment breakdowns and staffing challenges.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Communication & Reporting:
- Communicate production status, challenges, and achievements to management and cross-functional teams.
- Prepare and present reports on production metrics, downtime, and maintenance needs.
