A leading distribution company in Hauppauge, NY is seeking an experienced Distribution Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have leadership skills, experience in logistics and distribution, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Spanish speakers are highly encouraged to apply!   Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Supervisor in a distribution, warehouse, or logistics environment.
• leadership and team management skills.
• Spanish is a huge plus.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate distribution of products.
• Oversee receiving, storage, and shipping processes to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
• Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and train team members as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet operational and customer service goals.
• Resolve any issues related to product quality, inventory discrepancies, or shipping delays.
• Generate and analyze reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and suggest areas for improvement.
