We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Waste Treatment Operator to join our team in Opa Locka. As a Waste Treatment Operator, you will play a critical role in managing waste treatment processes to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and contribute to our commitment to sustainable practices. Responsibilities

Operates/Monitors Waste Treatment Systems:

• Monitor pH levels in all tanks and check flow rates.
• Fill chemical tanks as required for optimal operation.
• Perform checks for excess sulfite, using starch paper and Hex tests for bleach.
• Record opened or used chemicals accurately.
• Ensure cleanliness of the system's platform, identifying oil and air leaks.

Dryer - Room Operator:

• Operate the dryer, maintaining control over sludge temperatures and moisture.
• Ensure cleanliness of floors and machines in the dryer room.
• Keep track of the number of hoppers dumped and maintain clean return pits.
• Maintain the proper level in the circulating tank, marking as needed.

Forklift Operator:

• Transport sludge from both systems to the dryer room.
• Shovel hoppers at the vibratory system, clean floors, and the platform.
• Ensure cleanliness in all areas, disposing of empty drums, barrels, and excess water.

Floor Operator:

• Maintain cleanliness of the waste treatment area, removing paper, solids, and liquid chemicals.
• Pump chemicals and clean the press to maintain efficient operations.

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
