Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for machining operations based on blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to achieve precise and efficient production.
- Set up and calibrate CNC machines by selecting and loading appropriate tools, fixtures, and workpieces to ensure accurate execution of programs.
- Perform troubleshooting and adjustments to resolve machining errors, tool wear, or program inaccuracies, minimizing downtime and maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes, reduce cycle times, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Inspect and validate finished products using precision measuring tools, ensuring compliance with dimensional and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of programming files, machine setups, and tooling configurations for traceability and future reference.
- Stay updated on industry advancements in CNC programming software, machining techniques, and tooling technology to continuously improve production capabilities
