The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to transport materials and goods in and out of storage areas, docks, or warehouses.
• Load and unload shipments and organize inventory in storage locations.
• Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Inspect the forklift daily for safety and functionality, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
• Safely maneuver heavy loads in tight spaces while ensuring proper stacking and storage.
• Assist with inventory management by performing regular stock counts and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and comply with company’s health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow and efficient material handling.
• Operate the forklift in a safe manner to minimize the risk of injury or damage to equipment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management immediately.
