As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in constructing and repairing metal structures, tools, and equipment. You'll work with various welding techniques and materials, ensuring strong and precise welds that meet our high standards.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work procedures.
- Select appropriate welding methods (MIG, TIG, stick, etc.) based on project requirements.
- Prepare metal surfaces for welding, including cleaning, grinding, and shaping.
- Operate welding equipment to fuse metal parts, ensuring accurate and quality welds.
- Inspect welds for conformance to specifications and quality standards.
- Repair and rework defective welds as needed.
- Maintain welding equipment in optimal working condition.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear.
- Proven experience as a Welder with a strong understanding of welding techniques.
- Proficiency in operating various welding equipment and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of different metal types and their welding characteristics.
- strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of welding safety regulations and practices.
- Welding certifications (e.g., AWS) are a plus.
