We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Restoration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring properties damaged by water, fire, mold, and other disasters. Key responsibilities include water extraction, mold remediation, fire and smoke damage restoration, structural drying, and detailed documentation of restoration processes.

The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in operating restoration equipment, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide empathetic customer service during challenging situations. A company fleet van will be provided, but a clean motor vehicle record (MVR) is required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Water Extraction and Mitigation: Using equipment like pumps, vacuums, and dehumidifiers to remove water and moisture.
• Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration: Cleaning and restoring areas affected by fire and smoke.
• Mold Remediation: Identifying, containing, and removing mold safely and effectively.
• Carpentry and Construction Knowledge: Repairing or replacing damaged structures such as drywall, flooring, and framing.
• Equipment Operation: Proficiency in using restoration equipment such as air movers, moisture meters, HEPA vacuums, and ozone machines.
• Chemical Handling: Safe handling and application of cleaning agents, deodorizers, and disinfectants.
• Drying Techniques: Knowledge of structural drying methods and how to use tools like infrared cameras for moisture detection.
• Documentation and Reporting: Creating detailed records of damage, repair efforts, and equipment usage for insurance and compliance purposes.
• Clean MVR-Will have access to a fleet van
• Will be on call every other weekend

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 10 hours at one time

working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
