What Will You Do?
As a Maintenance Leader, you will support the Warehouse Superintendent in overseeing daily warehouse operations, including labor scheduling, equipment usage, and space utilization. This role focuses on maintaining a safe, efficient, and Lean facility. You will spend 80% of your time on hands-on maintenance (e.g., PIV/Forklift maintenance, recycling equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and racking) and 20% on management tasks.
- Coordinate the installation and relocation of equipment, including dust collection, compressed air, and electrical systems
- Train others on equipment and process operation
- Refurbish, modernize, and repair machinery and technology
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Enforce safety procedures (including LOTO) and address equipment safety risks
- Collaborate on improving SOPs related to equipment operation and safety
- Ensure compliance with safety and OSHA policies
- 2+ years of experience with PIV/Forklift troubleshooting, welding, and general maintenance (including racking, recycling equipment, and fabrication)
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing troubleshooting
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to order supplies and prioritize with purchasing
