Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain, repair, and troubleshoot pharmaceutical production and packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance. This role is critical for ensuring compliance with GMP, FDA, and safety standards while supporting the efficient operation of manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment, including mixers, blenders, packaging machines, and HVAC systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using tools and schematics, resolving problems to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all equipment operates in compliance with GMP, FDA, and other regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to address equipment-related issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and parts usage, in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Support equipment installation, modifications, and upgrades as required.
- Monitor and maintain spare parts inventory to ensure readiness for repairs and replacements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and actively participate in safety training and initiatives.
- Perform routine facility maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems as needed.
- Provide recommendations to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
