Responsibilities
- Shipping Operations:
- Prepare and package items for shipment following company and customer requirements.
- Verify shipping documentation to ensure accuracy, including labels, invoices, and packing slips.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and manage tracking of shipments.
- Receiving Operations:
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Unload, unpack, and properly store materials in designated inventory locations.
- Report any discrepancies or damages promptly to the appropriate department.
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using inventory management systems.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and support periodic inventory audits.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse space.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolution of issues.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to address challenges or inefficiencies.
