As a CNC Milling and Turning Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and programming CNC machines, including Mastercam programming. You will work on complex, high-tolerance components used in the aerospace, medical, and defense sectors. This position requires a highly skilled individual who is proficient in both CNC and manual machining and is dedicated to producing parts that meet stringent industry standards. Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC machinist with expertise in both CNC milling and turning operations.
- Proficiency in Mastercam programming and experience with CAD/CAM software.
- Manual machining skills, including the ability to operate lathes, mills, grinders, and other manual equipment.
- Experience with aerospace, medical, and/or defense parts manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with high-precision tolerances, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of machining materials used in aerospace and medical applications (e.g., titanium, Inconel, stainless steel, aluminum).
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality parts.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage time efficiently.
salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
