We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker to join our team and help us maintain our properties to the highest standards.The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure homes and apartment complexes are in excellent condition for new tenants. This role involves both preventive maintenance and repairs to various systems and structures within the properties. Interested candidates are invited to apply and submit a resume!

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry work
• Assist with inspecting and troubleshooting issues to determine necessary repairs
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests from residents and property management
• Performing repairs on doors, windows, floors, ceilings, and other structural elements
• Conducting regular inspections of common areas, building exteriors, and grounds
• Assisting with maintaining and repairing appliances and equipment
• Performing painting and drywall repairs as needed
• Ensuring all maintenance work is complete in compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Keeping maintenance records and updating logs of completed work
• Coordinating with external contractors for specialized repairs and services

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time
