Responsibilities
Duties/Job Description:
- Locates parts specified in sales and production orders
- General labor / material handling MANUAL tasks off of the forklift as well! This is not a full forklift job!
- Picks materials and verifies correct part numbers and quantities
- Operates industrial equipment (stand up forklift (cherry picker), tugger, electric pallet jacks, and man-up vehicles)
- Delivers material to product lines on an hourly basis (or faster),
- Cycle Count as required
- Develops and feedbacks ideas for improvements and assists with implementation
- Maintains 5S system in work area
- Manages all product flow using SAP and other documentation as necessary (they will be trained on SAP)
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to learn/identify differences in series of products to insure accurate and quality product is delivered
- Able to operate a RF scanner
- Able to navigate computer systems and operate a printer - they will train them on SAP. But they need to have used computers before within the warehouse.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
