- Perform first-piece inspections to ensure parts and components meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Use precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges) to evaluate dimensions and tolerances.
- Review and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Document inspection results, including non-conformance reports, and communicate findings to relevant departments.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and address quality issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of inspections and measurements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards to ensure compliance with company and industry requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in quality control or manufacturing are a plus.
- Proven experience in a quality inspection role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and quality control processes is an advantage.
