We are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL B Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating vehicles in compliance with all state and federal regulations, delivering goods efficiently, and providing exceptional service to our customers. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $21 and opportunities for growth within the company after entering the union. 

salary: $41,600 - $43,680 per year

work hours: 6 AM - 3 PM

Responsibilities

• Operate Class B commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement of goods.
• Plan routes and adhere to delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals.
• Maintain accurate logs of hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers to provide updates on deliveries.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Perform minor maintenance or report mechanical issues for prompt resolution.
