We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our team in the manufacturing of high-quality flatbed trailers. The Welder will play a critical role in fabricating and assembling steel and aluminum components using a variety of welding techniques. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing durable products that meet company and industry standards.

salary: $15 - $20 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 6:30 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and Welding:
  
  
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding to fabricate and assemble steel and aluminum components for flatbed trailers.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure proper fitment and welding specifications.
  • Measure and align workpieces to ensure accuracy before welding.
• Quality Assurance:
  
  
  • Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality and safety standards, including structural integrity and aesthetic appearance.
  • Conduct post-weld clean-up, including grinding, polishing, and finishing.
• Maintenance:
  
  
  • Maintain welding equipment, tools, and workstations to ensure they are in safe and efficient working order.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and notify supervisors of any necessary repairs or replacements.
• Safety Compliance:
  
  
  • Follow all company safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize risks and hazards.
  • Participate in safety training sessions and report any incidents or unsafe conditions.
