Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring the team meets both production and quality targets, while aligning with company goals and customer specifications.
- Delegate responsibilities and coordinate team efforts to prioritize tasks and troubleshoot challenges, ensuring smooth workflow across assembly, testing, and troubleshooting processes.
- Lead and mentor team members, providing on-the-job training, professional development, and performance feedback to help them meet operational and quality objectives.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment at all stages of production.
- Plan and manage the flow of materials and components to meet production demands and support project timelines effectively.
- Review product and design costs during the bidding process, supporting the estimation of manufacturing expenses.
- Balance resources to handle customer repair requests and oversee the efficient use of testing facilities for repairs.
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to support the introduction of new products and processes, ensuring smooth transitions from design to manufacturing.
- Monitor operations to ensure adherence to quality standards, industry regulations, and internal procedures (including ISO/AS9100 compliance).
