As a Maintenance Technician, you will travel extensively throughout the United States (up to 50% of the time) to support clients by installing new equipment, performing routine maintenance, and addressing technical issues. Responsibilities
- Installation and Assembly: Assemble and install packaging machines at client sites, ensuring proper functionality and alignment with client specifications.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with packaging machines during installation, servicing, or operation.
- Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and modifications to machinery to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment life.
- Training and Support: Train clients on the proper use and maintenance of packaging machines, providing technical support and answering operational questions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs, and modifications performed, including machine specifications and maintenance schedules.
- Travel: Travel extensively (50% of the time) across the United States to client locations to provide on-site support and services.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and protocols while working on machinery and within client facilities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clients, sales teams, and engineering departments to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve technical challenges.
- Problem-Solving: Quickly identify solutions to complex mechanical or electrical problems to minimize client downtime.
- Inventory Management: Manage and maintain tools, parts, and equipment necessary for servicing and repairing machines.
