inspector i - day shift .

We are currently looking for candidates who are looking to gain more experience in a manufacturing environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity in Wilsonville, OR working with a leading technology company assembling technology and doing quality checks on medical devices.  Full training is provided, but we are looking for someone who has prior experience doing quality control or working in a manufacturing environment with great attention to detail.  If this sounds like you make sure to apply and one of our recruiters will be in contact with you promptly!

Responsibilities

Typical Duties

• Develops and maintains quality control systems, ensuring products meet company and government standards.
• Conducts routine analysis of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products, maintaining lab equipment.
• Documents test procedures, including stability testing, and prepares reports on abnormalities.
• Recommends corrective actions to ensure quality standards and revises procedures as needed.
• Provides technical support through inspections of products at various production stages.

• Reads and interprets blueprints and specifications, using various measurement tools.
• Conducts critical inspections, authorizing production to begin.
• Identifies process improvements for consistent quality.
• Sorts defective materials for repairs and performs inspections requiring precise measurements.

Knowledge Level

• Basic job skills gained from 1+ years of relevant experience and a high school diploma or equivalent, with possible vocational training.
