Responsibilities
Typical Duties
- Develops and maintains quality control systems, ensuring products meet company and government standards.
- Conducts routine analysis of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products, maintaining lab equipment.
- Documents test procedures, including stability testing, and prepares reports on abnormalities.
- Recommends corrective actions to ensure quality standards and revises procedures as needed.
- Provides technical support through inspections of products at various production stages.
- Reads and interprets blueprints and specifications, using various measurement tools.
- Conducts critical inspections, authorizing production to begin.
- Identifies process improvements for consistent quality.
- Sorts defective materials for repairs and performs inspections requiring precise measurements.
- Basic job skills gained from 1+ years of relevant experience and a high school diploma or equivalent, with possible vocational training.
