Responsibilities
- Ensures that all assembly and test activities are performed to meet quantity and quality output goals and assures conformance to work standards, production schedules and resource allocation. Delegates work assignments and coordinates priorities to supervisory staff.
- Able to lead direct reports as well as indirect team members (i.e., Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Sales) to resolve issues and meet goals for the department.
- Trains and instructs subordinates in the performance of their duties by providing them with guidance to achieve cost, schedule and quality objectives while improving their capabilities. Recommends changes to training methods and procedures.
- Ensures the safety of employees throughout our manufacturing and test process.
- Plan, monitor and expedite the flow of required hardware to support the monthly revenue plan.
- Reviews cost history of established products and designs during the bidding phase.
