Overview: Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician with electrical and mechanical abilities? Join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility! As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, ensuring equipment is running efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned preventative and scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery
- Respond to and resolve equipment stoppages and mechanical breakdowns, troubleshooting when necessary
- Repair and replace worn/defective parts, motors, control devices, etc.
- Operate machine shop equipment, hand tools, and power tools to make repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Act as a collaborative team member in a highly functioning environment
- Comply with all company policies, safety regulations, and work rules
- Demonstrate a dependable work ethic, respect authority, and show commitment to the team's success
- MUST be able to Troubleshoot PLCs, and read relay logic
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a technician, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Formal training in manufacturing or mechanical fields a plus
- Ability to operate a scissor lift and forklift
- Proven experience with machine rebuilds, including gearboxes and motors
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and schematics
- Basic knowledge of welding (stick, argon, and MIG) is a plus
- Familiarity with three-phase electrical systems
- English communication skills (both written and verbal)

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Perform assigned preventative maintenance tasks.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
• Responds to and corrects equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdown. Troubleshoots
(when necessary). Repairs/replaces worn/defective parts, motors, control devices, etc.
• Operates machine shop equipment, hand tools, power tools and makes required repairs as
necessary.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.
• Position requires ability to act as a member of a highly functioning team.
• Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures including safety and
work rules, etc.
• Dependable, trustworthy, work ethic, respects authority.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years experience as a technician and/or formal training in a manufacturing
plant.
• Operate a scissor lift and forklift
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
• Machine rebuilds including gearboxes and motors.
• General and/or efficient knowledge of schematics and mechanical drawings.
• General knowledge in welding (stick, argon and mig) is a plus.
• Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards.
