Responsibilities
- Install and Maintain Control Systems:
- Set up, program, and calibrate PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and other automation systems.
- Perform electrical and instrumentation installations as needed.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:
- Diagnose and repair electrical, control, and automation system malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve system issues.
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on control systems, electrical components, and automated machinery.
- Update maintenance logs and documentation.
- System Upgrades and Improvements:
- Recommend and implement upgrades to control systems to enhance efficiency, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system changes, and troubleshooting efforts.
- Update schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation as needed.
