We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding components to produce flatbed trailers that meet our rigorous quality standards. This role requires great attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

salary: $16 - $21 per hour

work hours: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and Assembly:
  
  
  • Cut, shape, and assemble metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Measure and mark materials for cutting and fabrication, ensuring accuracy.
• Welding:
  
  
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding to assemble trailer frames and other components.
  • Inspect welds for quality, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with industry standards.
• Blueprint Interpretation:
  
  
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics to fabricate trailers as designed.
• Equipment Operation:
  
  
  • Operate fabrication tools and machinery, including saws, grinders, presses, and welding equipment.
• Quality Assurance:
  
  
  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Make necessary adjustments to ensure precision and adherence to specifications.
• Safety and Maintenance:
  
  
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
