We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented individual to inspect, maintain, and repair diesel-powered equipment, including trucks, forklifts, and generators.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting routine maintenance and diagnostics to ensure equipment reliability.
  
  
• Performing repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  
  
• Utilizing advanced tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  
  
• Maintaining accurate records of inspections and repairs.
  
  
• Collaborating with team members to meet service deadlines and uphold safety standards.
  
  

salary: $62,400 - $72,800 per year

Responsibilities

• Perform basic diesel maintenance and repairs, such as tire swaps, replacing mudflaps, fueling diesel tanks, and servicing headlights.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Work on various vehicle systems, including 12V/24V electrical systems and hydraulics.
• Operate and maintain a service truck for on-site repairs and maintenance.
• Use your expertise to address minor and overnight issues on the fleet.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with vehicles and equipment.
• Technical Requirements:
• CDL A preferred.
• 5 years of experience in diesel maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of Peterbilt, straight trucks, tractor trailers, and moffet systems is a plus.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

standing for 10 hours at one time

working up to 15 hrs of overtime per week
