Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up CNC machines according to production specifications.
- Load raw materials into machines and secure them properly.
- Operate CNC machines to produce parts or components based on blueprints and designs.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and quality.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances.
- Use measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify accuracy.
- Identify and resolve machine malfunctions or errors during operations.
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning and lubrication.
- Report major repairs or issues to maintenance staff.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Record production data, such as quantities produced and machine performance.
- Complete work orders and maintain logs of machine usage.
- Work with team members, supervisors, and engineers to ensure efficient production.
- Provide feedback on machine performance and process improvements.
