Responsibilities

Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, the position’s responsibility is to perform product analysis and to ensure the quality and safety of the product produced in the plant by verifying all necessary food safety compliance requirements.

• The lab technician will be expected to perform analytical testing on all product produced in the facility.
• The lab technician will be expected to perform Micro Testing on Crystallizer (SPC) produced in the facility.
• The lab technician will be expected to perform retest/cutoff Testing on all product produced in the facility.
• The position requires proficiency in basic computer programs such as Microsoft (word, excel, PowerPoint).
• The position will work with SAP, Matrix, and Quality Suite etc. to perform functions critical to quality.
• The lab technician will work with internal customers to ensure all quality related issues are.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

standing for 8 hours at one time

working weekends
