Responsibilities

- Operate forklifts (stand-up, sit-down, or other specialized forklifts) to load and unload trucks, move products within the facility, and stage items for shipment.
- Conduct pre-operational safety checks and ensure forklifts are in good working condition.
- Shipping and Receiving:
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring products are handled safely and accurately.
- Verify shipment details against shipping documentation, including quantities, product types, and condition.
- Prepare orders for shipment by accurately picking, packing, and labeling items according to shipping requirements.
- Inventory Management:
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by scanning, labeling, and organizing products in designated areas.
- Perform regular cycle counts and help investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Warehouse Organization:
- Ensure products are stored safely, securely, and in compliance with company and safety standards.
- Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the shipping, receiving, and warehouse teams to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
- Communicate any issues or delays with supervisors and relevant departments.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of forklift operating experience, preferably in a shipping and receiving or warehouse environment.
