Responsibilities
- Fully understands and follows all ABX safety rules and policies.
- Reviews packaging materials required vs. available and communicates needs & stocks lines
- Able to read packaging Traveler
- Safely operates the pallet jack equipment and maintain battery charging for ongoing capability
- Accurately operates the overhead hoists, packs, bands and labels finished products.
- Performs all necessary quality checks and documents results.
- Assists in the cutting of cores for the Slitter Operators to maintain production
- Scanning Finished pallets, SWRAP1/REWORK/HOLD
- Capable of looking up packing and splicing codes in the system
- Stages Master Rolls from FSL to machine
- Performs miscellaneous tasks as needed by supervisor.
- Maintains housekeeping
- Responsible for training any other incoming operators.
- Must be able to independently run one rewinder.
