Responsibilities
Operate within the WMS system to manage workflow, allocate orders, release tasks, and resolve discrepancies across the distribution warehouse.
Develop and communicate strategic operational plans to senior leadership daily.
Ensure operational plans are timely, cost-effective, and align with productivity and quality standards.
Monitor workflow queues, prioritize interleaving processes, and assign inbound/outbound loads to staging lanes or doors.
Oversee trailer movements in the drop lot and ensure timely workflow allocation using super user access.
Create and manage audit processes to track daily progress and meet production goals.
Optimize labor allocation to align with shipment schedules.
Troubleshoot undirected work and ensure corrections before release.
Maintain WMS expertise and support the onsite user community.
Serve as a liaison between IT and site teams to address WMS-related barriers.
Ensure shipments meet KPI targets and manage system compliance per WMS SOPs.
Provide daily turnover reports for seamless shift transitions.
Identify and recommend process improvements for WMS operations.
