We are seeking a Mechanical Design Project Manager to join our team! This role focuses on designing and improving mechanical products while ensuring quality, safety, and manufacturability. The ideal candidate has experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar),solid project management skills, and a background in mechanical systems and manufacturing. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, support R&D efforts, and contribute to innovative product solutions. salary: $85,000 - $100,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Advanced knowledge in designing mechanical systems, including motors, gears, and structural components.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Skilled in using design tools such as AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar programs for developing and refining technical drawings.
• Ability to work across departments, including sales, manufacturing, vendors, and R&D, while effectively conveying technical information.
• A keen eye for precision in design, documentation, and manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Ability to create, organize, and maintain detailed design and testing documentation.
• Ability to manage projects efficiently, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Mechanical background with 3 years of experience or training
• Able to independently research and validate various subjects using on-line resources.
• Ability to travel - up to 5%
• Accountable for all concerns within their scope of work and has the absolute responsibility to remedy, report, and/or communicate any issue
