Responsibilities
- Assembly of Electrical Components: Assemble electrical components such as circuit boards, connectors, and wiring harnesses based on engineering diagrams and specifications.
- Soldering and Desoldering: Perform precise soldering and desoldering of components on circuit boards, ensuring proper connections and quality solder joints.
- Wire Routing and Termination: Route and terminate wires to ensure secure electrical connections and maintain neat and organized assemblies.
- Quality Inspection: Inspect solder joints and assembled components to ensure they meet quality standards, performing corrective actions as needed.
- Functional Testing: Test electrical assemblies to verify functionality and adherence to specifications, using tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, including components used, testing results, and any issues encountered.
- Collaboration with Engineers: Work with engineers to troubleshoot assembly issues, suggest design improvements, and assist in optimizing manufacturing processes.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols while handling electrical components, tools, and soldering equipment, including wearing necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Process Improvement: Participate in initiatives aimed at improving assembly efficiency, reducing defects, and ensuring high-quality standards.
