Responsibilities
- Oversees the maintenance and upkeep of machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Works closely with the Production Department to schedule preventive maintenance and repairs with minimal disruption to production plans.
- Collaborates with team members and supervisors to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- Ensures all maintenance and repair tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manages maintenance records, resources, and related data to ensure efficient operations.
- Coordinates with vendors to schedule and oversee maintenance work, ensuring all tasks are completed to standard.
- Works with the Engineering Department to assess, procure, install, and validate new machinery and equipment.
- Partners with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to enhance quality control and productivity through equipment modifications, layout adjustments, and custom work aids.
- Implements and enforces safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Ensures adherence to environmental and industry regulations.
- Monitors maintenance performance and reports key issues and metrics to management.
