Role Summary:
Randstad is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join a high-precision manufacturing environment. This position requires programming and setting up CNCs and machining centers, ensuring precision machining operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate should have a strong machining background, experience in Mastercam programming, and familiarity with new machining technologies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-10 years in CNC programming and machining.
- Education: High School diploma with technical school training preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Mastercam programming.
- Experience with Fanuc, Mazak, Okuma lathe and mill controls is a plus.
- strong machining and tool-setting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Understanding of trigonometry for machining applications.
- Soft Skills:
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Continual improvement mindset and willingness to adopt new machining technologies.
- Standing: Routinely throughout the shift.
- Bending/Stooping, Pushing/Pulling, and Lifting (up to 10 lbs. frequently, over 10 lbs. occasionally).
- Reading documents and blueprints frequently.
- Pay: $22–$32 per hour (based on experience).

Responsibilities
- Program and set up CNC machines and machining centers.
- Create and optimize fixture designs for all assigned jobs.
- Perform CNC programming using Mastercam and integrate with existing machining processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct inspection of machined parts to ensure quality standards are met.
- Continuously seek improvements in tool selection, cutting parameters, and machining methods.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to enhance processes.
