We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Assistant to support our aerospace manufacturing team in ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining high-quality standards, performing inspections, and supporting audits. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our aerospace products and ensuring that all processes meet rigorous safety and quality requirements. This positionwill support the Director of Quality Assurance. REQUIREMENTS 

• Previous experience in quality assurance, inspections, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO9001 and AS9100.
• Attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and solve problems.

salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Keep accurate records of quality-related data, including inspections, test results, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective actions.
• Gather and input quality-related information into management systems to support reporting and documentation.
• Help identify areas for quality improvement, assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and monitor their effectiveness.
• Assist with internal and external audits by organizing necessary documentation and ensuring required materials and samples are available.
• Review contracts to ensure compliance with requirements.
