Responsibilities
- Lead and Supervise Team:
Manage and provide leadership to a team of technicians, ensuring they are properly trained, motivated, and operating efficiently. Assign tasks, prioritize work, and maintain a productive and positive work environment.
- Quality Control & Compliance:
Ensure that all wiring harnesses and assemblies meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Perform routine inspections and audits of work produced to ensure compliance with customer specifications, blueprints, and industry standards (e.g., IPC/WHMA-A-620).
- Project Management:
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines, ensuring materials and labor are efficiently allocated. Track department productivity, manage workloads, and ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Process Improvement:
Continuously monitor and assess the wiring and harnessing processes to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement. Implement best practices to enhance the team's performance, safety, and quality.
- Training and Development:
Conduct regular training for team members on technical skills, safety protocols, and best practices related to wiring, harnessing, and assembly. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and encourage skill development.
- Equipment and Tools Management:
Ensure that the wiring and harnessing team has access to well-maintained tools, equipment, and materials necessary for their tasks. Coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs and routine servicing.
