We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wiring/Harness Lead to join our team. This role involves overseeing the design, assembly, testing, and quality control of electrical wiring and harness systems. As the Wiring/Harness Lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, ensuring that all projects are completed to specification and within deadlines. You will also act as a subject matter expert, ensuring compliance with industry standards and troubleshooting complex wiring issues.

salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians in the assembly, installation, and testing of electrical wiring and harness systems.
• Oversee the creation and modification of electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and harness designs.
• Ensure all wiring and harnesses meet safety and quality standards, adhering to both internal and external regulatory requirements.
• Perform regular quality checks and troubleshoot wiring and harnessing issues in the production process.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and other teams to ensure seamless workflow and project completion.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Lead and support the preparation of cost estimates, material procurement, and planning for new projects.
• Maintain detailed records of all wiring/harness designs, updates, and inspections.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Continuously improve wiring and harnessing processes, incorporating feedback and implementing best practices.
