We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing tests on various electronic equipment, circuits, and components to ensure their proper functionality and reliability. You will also be conducting component-level testing to evaluate individual parts for performance and identifying defects. This role requires an ability to interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and circuit diagrams. Additionally, you will perform repairs and troubleshoot issues in a hands-on capacity to ensure equipment is fully operational.

salary: $72,800 - $90,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough tests on electronic equipment, circuits, and individual components to verify performance, functionality, and reliability at the component level
• Use testing instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators to troubleshoot and diagnose issues within circuits and systems
• Interpret and analyze technical blueprints, schematics, and circuit diagrams to guide testing procedures and assessments
• Conduct component-level testing to evaluate individual parts and assemblies for electrical integrity and functionality
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty components, circuits, or systems, ensuring they meet all required specifications
• Maintain accurate documentation of test results, findings, and repairs for quality assurance and record-keeping
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure equipment meets operational standards and resolves any technical issues promptly
