Responsibilities
Shipping Duties:
Order Processing: Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments accurately.
Carrier Coordination: Schedule pickups with carriers and ensure timely deliveries.
Documentation: Generate packing slips, shipping labels, and necessary paperwork.
Quality Control: Inspect outgoing products for accuracy and damages before shipment.
⚖️ Load Management: Ensure proper loading of trucks to optimize space and prevent damage.
Tracking & Reporting: Monitor shipments, update tracking information, and resolve any delivery issues.
Receiving Duties:
Product Intake: Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
Quality Checks: Ensure received goods meet company standards and report any discrepancies.
Inventory Management: Accurately log received items into inventory systems.
Labeling & Storage: Properly label and store materials in designated locations.
Returns & Claims: Handle returned shipments and communicate with vendors on damaged or incorrect items.
⚠️ Safety & Compliance: Follow OSHA and company safety protocols when handling shipments.
