Hello, NOW HIRING, Direct-Hire opportunity. MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN -Industrial (machine shop environment) A Lighting and Grounding Manufacturing machine shop is hiring for an experienced Maintenance Technician. The company specializes in manufacturing Lightning protection and grounding solutions, utilizing metals, bonding products, ground cables and other products.  Machines used are CNCs, Presses, Drills, Mills, Lathes, EDM machines and other equipment. They are in search a Maintenance technician that can help set up machines, perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all equipment. 

• Preventative Maintenance on Manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot & repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• experience with CNCs, Presses, Drills, Mills, Lathes, EDM machines 
• Assist in the installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, parts usage, and equipment history.
• Electrical Knowledge, PLCs , 480V 
• Working with Hand, Power and Air tools
• Read and interpret Blueprints/Schematics 
• 4 + years of relevant experience + an updated resume to apply
• Family orientated machine shop environment

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment by reviewing parts and ensure that they are working properly.
• Identify and perform necessary maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Conduct routine servicing of equipment as part of measures to prevent breakdowns and malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance activities on the equipment.
• Communicate with management regarding faulty equipment and make recommendations on maintenance techniques for optimal performance.
• Responsible for following safety rules as well as using safe procedures.
• Keeping all tools and supplies in their work area put away in the appropriate location on a daily basis.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The essential functions of this role include:
