Responsibilities
Job Duties:
- Oversee the production team and operators, ensuring tasks are assigned appropriately and team performance is monitored consistently.
- Offer guidance and training opportunities to team members, fostering their growth and development within the production environment.
- Monitor and adjust resources as needed to ensure production schedules are met on time and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with various departments to optimize the production flow and resolve any potential bottlenecks.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment for all team members.
- Address any incidents on the production floor by investigating the cause and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Initiate and drive continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing production efficiency and reducing waste in the manufacturing process.
- Accurately track and maintain records of production outputs, downtime, employee performance, and other relevant metrics.
- Create and present daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to management and stakeholders.
- Develop, monitor, and enforce standard work practices for both yourself and your team members to maintain consistent production quality.
- Identify and resolve any quality-related issues within the manufacturing process, ensuring all products meet required standards.
- Keep all relevant stakeholders informed of production status, potential issues, and overall progress towards meeting production goals.
