Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in offices, restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and countertops.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners, ensuring proper disposal of waste.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and replenishing supplies (toilet paper, soap, etc.).
- Perform minor repairs such as fixing leaky faucets, changing light bulbs, and basic plumbing tasks.
- Report any significant maintenance issues to the Facilities Supervisor/Manager.
- onitor and restock cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ensure proper storage and use of cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety and health regulations.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Ensure all cleaning practices comply with company and industry standards.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down meeting rooms or event spaces.
- Respond promptly to emergency cleaning needs, such as spills or other accidents.
- Support other facility-related tasks as directed by the Facilities Supervisor/Manager.
- This position involves working indoors in various environments within the facility
- The role requires physical effort, including lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and supplies.
