We are seeking skilled operators to sucessfully fulfill roles across two shifts: 5 AM - 3 PM and 7 PM - 5 AM. These are 10 hours shifts that typically run Monday - Thursday, with Fridays & Saturdays when needed. This role involves operating and maintaining the rod mill machine to reduce rods to smaller sizes for further processing. The operator will also be responsible for assembling mechanical units and fabricated parts, ensuring the production of high-quality sub-assemblies or complete products. The ideal candidate will be proficient with hand and power tools and have the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

• Rod Mill Operation: Load single rods into the rod mill, and operate the machine to reduce the rod to a smaller size, ensuring that the finished product meets specified dimensions and quality standards.
• Assembly Tasks: Assemble mechanical units or fabricated parts to create sub-assemblies or complete products, following routine and repetitive assembly operations.
• Tool and Equipment Use: Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including jigs, dies, fixtures, templates, punch presses, riveting machines, circular shears, and drill presses to cut, file, fit, punch, ream, rivet, form, and assemble parts.
• Alignment and Calibration: Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet precise tolerances and product requirements.
• Quality Control: Monitor the quality of products and raw materials throughout the production process to ensure consistent standards are met.
• Blueprint Interpretation: May be required to read simple blueprints or technical drawings to ensure proper assembly and machine operation.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure smooth operations. Troubleshoot and correct minor machine malfunctions to prevent production delays.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and use appropriate safety equipment at all times. Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
